Enid High 2009

The buildings north of Enid High have all been torn down and there's a nice view of the school that will not remain long. New medical buildings will soon be built and this great view will be lost. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Passing of Michelle R. (Bohon) Lauria

More sad news to report. We send our sympathy to Michelle's relatives.

Michelle R. Lauria, age 45, of Hickory Lane, Shelton, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing Center Stratford. She is the wife of David Lauria.

Michelle was born in Olathe, Kansas on October 4, 1962. She attended school in Enid and graduated with the class of 1981. She received her BA of Engineer from Oklahoma State University, and was a self-employed Interior Decorator.

She was an active parishioner at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, an active member of the Elizabeth Shelton PTA, the Newcomers and Neighborhood Club of Shelton, a volunteer for the Monroe Food Bank, and an advocate of the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Michelle was the mother of Michael and Jessica Lauria; and sister of Marsha Hawkins. Michelle will be missed a great deal by many friends who showed her years of love and kindness during her illness.

Ronnie Peck

Some of you may remember Ronnie Peck. He went to school with several folks in our class up until 1976 (Coolidge Elementary School) when his parents moved to Ames, OK where he finished his education. Ronnie would have graduated with the class of '81 had he not moved.

The picture above was taken during a Vegas trip November before last during the Professional Bull Riding held at Thomas and Mack Arena.

Ronnie is wondering if anyone knows what happened to Tamera Root?

Contact Ronnie (ronfromok7@msn.com) if you went to Coolidge!
