Loss of an Enid High Coach
Everyone has to remember coach Gary Snider. He was the young gun that came to Enid High in 1979 and fit in so well with everyone because he wasn't much older then we were. Coach Snider lost a long battle to cancer Monday night in Tulsa.
Snider, 51, coached the Plainsmen secondary from 1979-1990. He also served as the school’s wrestling coach and assistant track coach.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Memorials can be sent to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
